An entirely different proposition. A tough Cornish Gran Prix race over fields (with plenty of rabbit holes!), coastal path, dunes, etc with over 1300 feet of climbing. Entries are accepted on the day. On a beautiful sunny day like today the views are wonderful. |

Yeovil Summer Series 5k – Wednesday 11th April
Back running again. Just need to generate some better speed and build up my endurance again! This is the flattest course I have ever run and the perfect run to do for a PB. Course records currently Rob Whalley 14.04 and Louise Damen 15.48!! Held in the evening, the monthly races start opposite the Fleet Air Arm Museum at the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton, so anyone on holiday in Somerset can visit the museum in the afternoon and do the race in the evening. Maybe not so much of interest to the ladies, but the award winning museum houses the largest collection of naval airplanes in Europe. The races are organised by Yeovil Town Road Running Club (www.yeoviltownrrc.com) and entries can be made on the night. Plenty of parking, refreshments etc. |
