Four members of Paddock Wood AC were selected to represent Southern Counties in an England Masters Inter-Area Track and Field Challenge at Solihull on Sunday 17th July 2016. Unfortunately, Mark Woods (M50), who was entered for four events, had to withdraw due to injuries received in the SCVAC League match two days earlier but Angela Martin (W50), Sharon Hawkins (W50) and Sue James (W65) contributed to Southern Counties’ success as they won the match (599.5 points) from Midland Masters (576.5), Wales(439) and five other area teams.
