Dear parents and athletes,

It’s time to put some dates in the diary for all the juniors in the club who are old enough to join our league teams. If your child will be 11 before 1st September 2017 they are eligible to compete in our summer leagues.

For those not quite old enough yet there will be open competitions available to get some performances on the board, we will also be organising some more run, jump, throw mornings at our track, but dates for these competitions will be available in the next few months.

Everyone has been working hard and it’ll be time test out all that training they’ve been doing so for U13’s and U15’s we compete in the Kent Young Athletes League (KYAL), this year the dates are:

Match 2 – Sunday 4th June – Dartford

All the team managers will be in contact shortly to check availability, preferred events etc, and we will have details of open meetings where you can practice before the league dates. All these leagues are fun and friendly, and a great experience to go to, but you must be a club member, registered athlete and have paid your competition fee to represent the club. For all juniors your club vest is free, just return it when it is too small!

We look forward to seeing you at these matches in the summer, when the weather should be a little bit warmer, fingers crossed.
Best Wishes
Liz Duffin and all the junior coaches at PWAC.
