Thanks go to the 24 athletes that turned up to run the second of this autumn’s 2 mile time trials, plus the 3 club members who gave up there time to help officiate. The juniors ran a 1 mile time trial along with the seniors. So for 4 laps junior and seniors were all on the track together.
First home once again was the ever impressive Charles George followed once again by David Sampson. The first lady home was Emma Hollands followed by Mandy Barker.
We had 10 athletes all achieving impressive Gold Standards. 4 Gold 3s, 1 Gold 2 and 5 Gold 1s. Coming out on top for the gents once the times had been age graded was John Tolhurst followed by David Sampson and then Charles George, for the ladies Emma Holland came out on top followed by Sue Chivers and Vanessa Jones.
Who says you have to slow down with age.
