It was a great result for Joe Stone from Paddock Wood AC when he won the U13 Kent County pentathlon competition on Monday at Tonbridge. In a tussle with Albert Kreuzberg from Tonbridge AC Joe won by just 28 points. In winning the event, with 1933 points Joe broke the club record for a pentathlon, which was set way back in 1995. In his first event the 75mH Joe broke his own CR 12.71s. In his shot put he got a PB 8.67m a new club record for this weight. Another PB came in the high jump 1.30m, in the long jump he did 4.69m and finally another massive PB in the 800m 2m22.28s, just 0.1s off another club record that was also set back in the 1990s.
