Close run thing at Tonbridge parkrun
Sue James and Alan Newman decided to try Tonbridge parkrun for the first time on Saturday (15 July). Sue ran a W65 course record and achieved the best age-grading score, beating her coach and partner by 0.03% (81.75% to 81.72%). We have calculated that equates to half a second! Still, its a run, not a race. Although try telling that to the rapidly improving Charles George, who finished third in a best time of 17:52. All the weekend’s parkrun results are shown elsewhere on the website.
