2010 PWAC Summer Time Trials – Wednesday 14th July

Heartless coach Alan Newman was not swayed by the claims of fatigue from over- raced athletes who were basking in the glory of defeating arch rivals Larkfield AC in the Mob Match 10k less than 24 hours earlier, so the mile time trial went ahead as scheduled at Tonbridge track on Wednesday evening.

There were useful debut miles for new members Andrew and Claire Day, plus James Davies. Personal bests were set by Aaron Rowland (with some encouragement from Rob) and Miriam Dorrity, who had dipped well under 50 minutes for 10k for the first time at Marden the night before.

The next mile time trial is on Wednesday 18th August and the series concludes with a mile handicap race (and possibly a few prizes) on Wednesday 22nd September
